The program focuses on the legal principles and planning related to international transactions in the Asia-Pacific region and provides a comprehensive overview of China’s legal system. Our host institution is Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), one of the most prestigious schools in China. BFSU is designated a “key” university by the Ministry of Education, and its graduates include most of China’s diplomats and foreign relations officials. BFSU is located in northwest Beijing, a convenient location for exploration of all areas of the city.

India is a vast, majestic country and, to many western eyes, mysterious, ancient and exotic. Many Americans have only vague impressions of India, distorted by stereotypes and mythology. Within our law schools, the law of India has gone unstudied and unexplored. We would like to change that. We invite you to join us as we travel up into the foothills of the Himalayas and seek to discover India!
