Welcome to My Options Abroad! Currently listed are all of the Spring 2010 study abroad programs available for law students.
The program will provide law students with the opportunity to study law in a country whose legal, economic, social, and cultural foundations have undergone an historic transition. The fate of this important country depends in large part on the strength and reformation of its legal institutions and law. Moscow, the capital city of the former Soviet Union, is the cultural, financial, and intellectual center and political capital of the Russian Federation. It boasts a variety of governmental institutions, historical sites, theaters and museums, and serves as an ideal base for trips to the countryside and other important cities of the former Soviet Union.
This two-week, three credit ADR program, offered at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, enables students to critically examine challenges in the design and delivery of ADR initiatives in both developed and developing democracies. American students learn side-by-side with colleagues from throughout the world, including significant representation from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as Asia. The course is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and cooperative projects among academics, professionals, and students in the East and West who are pursuing the study of conflict and conflict resolution processes.
